Harvard Square Editions (HSE) is a publishing house run by Harvard alumni that grew out of the Harvard Alumni Association group, Harvard Writers and Publishers. HSE publishes environmentally and socially conscious literary fiction, including winners of the National Book Foundation, Nautilus and other awards. Its mission is to bring out fiction that transcends national boundaries, especially manuscripts that are international, political, literary, diverse, multi-cultural, sci-fi, cli-fi, fantasy, utopia and dystopia. We appreciate aesthetic value and constructive social or political content, especially manuscripts related to climate change, deforestation, and conservation, but have a low tolerance for profanity and graphic violence.
